Hi, I have a Denon pma600 ne integrated amp, just bought Sennheiser 599 headphones mainly for use with Sony a45 but would like to use with hifi too.

Problem is 599 is only 50 ohm easy to drive and when plugged into Denon way too loud can barely move the volume knob from zero (can still hear faint music when on zero) .

Very helpful person on here suggested a headphone resistance adapter , have looked at these but have no idea what impedance i should be looking for . Also can you use a 3.5 to 6mm adapter on these into the amp as they all seem to be male 3.5mm?

Are there any other options to lower the volume?

Please could someone help. I’m in the UK , I’ve seen some Faaeal and Jacally. Any good?

Thank you .
