Hey guys,
I currently have the Ultrasone PRO 900, and want to try something different. I have already had three pairs of Ultrasones (HFI 580, HFI 2400 and PRO 900). I want the bass of the 900s (or almost), but with a bit more of a refined sound (especially in the mids). I can spend up to $250 (new, don't want to buy used), and have a HifiMan EF2A amp/dac. I can as well buy open or closed, doesn't matter. What would you guys recommend?
I'm pretty much set on the Beyerdynamic DT990 PRO, but am open to other suggestions.
