Hey head-fi, I'm looking for some basic headphones, but I have no idea what to get! I want simple headphones, under $100. They don't have to fold, but that would be nice. I'm not so concerned about sound quality (I haven't developed a good ear for music yet), and the headphones need to be durable. Preferably over ear, but on ear will do. Thanks!

Good over ear headphones to try on a budget are:

ATH M50 just went on sale on amazon for 100 today.
Philips Uptown (not downtown mentioned above if you prefer over ear) 60 bucks.
Creative Aurvana Live - About 60 bucks on amazon.
Monoprice DJ Over Ear 8323 found for about 25 dollars on monoprice website.

"Trained ear" or not you will likely enjoy any of those.
