Hello Fellow members...
i thought i would post on this forum as it relates to full size Phones..
I would very much like to put a short list together...of good open backed models.

I am in the process of trying to put together a laptop based sourse of music /some film system 95% of it Mp3...i am keen to buy a pair of Active speakers and a Dac possibly? and anything else thought necessary to help to upgrade the sound quality

I am really no expert..and am posting on three threads re the above,,so far i have received some superb advcie..but more always most welcome.
I would like to take time to choose the headphones,,,,

so far i have being given the following to think about:-Audio-Technica ATH-AD500 & 700 Open Back Hi-Fi Headphones....but i am more than will ing to look at others...open backed please..
system will basically be in a small office at home..i would like a self contained system....

not attached to another HI-Fi which we do have but it is anceint...
the headphones first & foremost must be very comfortable on the ears...Think that is why i was recommended the Audio tecnica phones

It gives you a very nice list. The list can be narrowed down depending non your preferences and budget.
