why would you need a 75 ft headphone extension cable?

75 feet!! thats quite a distsance. I would assume there would some signal loss at that distance.

Might want to consider a wireless system.???

I read somewhere that for guitar cables, 21.5 feet was the "magic Length". Something to the effect that any cable longer than that would degrade the signal.... the increased capacitance would alter the pickups AC current enough to hinder its ability to drive the preamp section of the amp.???

Not shure how they came up with that distance?... and just how legit it really is?.. or if it even matters with headphones?

Not only that, but I imagine that you would either have to make one yourself or get someone to make you one, and that would be quite pricey at 75'. I got a 10' one made and it was over $100.

i have a 15ft one that i use to do the dishes, i dont notice that much signal loss if any, maybe just a few less db's.

There is no maximum length, its down to personal preference. One person might find 50ft causes too much degredation while another might happily listen to 100ft.

I'd add an amp, so at least it will boost the signal at the end of its long journey!
