hi everyone, new to the forum here, i have a hd661, and the leatherette earcups are sorta cracking, so im wondering what replacement i can get, im currently looking at the sony MDR-7506 earcup replacement because i heard it is basically same as the hd661(also as i can get it pretty cheaply right now)

Superlux lists EPK661 as the model number for the ear pads the HD661 uses, which I can't find anywhere.
If the Sony MDR-7506 (& V6) ear pads fit the HD661, then you can get the ear pads for cheap off eBay (generic, Made in China).
 
The Beyerdynamic EDT250/280 Velour ear pads (942704) fit the Sony 7506/V6, so might also fit the HD661.
Really comfortable ear pads.
