Hi,

I would love to get something that has some kind of a display and preferably at a reasonable cost... Ideally something like McIntosh MHA150 dac/headamp and I hope to get my hands on it someday, but for now it out out of reach... Is there something else that has either digital display or old school ala McIntosh and produces reasonable quality sound and is not in the thousands of dollars? Right now I am using Audio-Gd and like the sound a lot, but would love a unit with display and maybe a sound upgrade...Any recommendations?

Marantz HD-DAC 1 has a display. I heard it a couple of years ago so I won't comment on the sound quality as it has been to long to remember.
