Is there any way to determine if a pair of cans bought online are genuine?

1. I will be asking the seller.

2.there are no reference headphones to compare to.

3.There are no audiophiles living nearby.

4.I am a beginner and have only owned a couple of Sony iem's.

The reason is that where I live the price for many headphones is higher than many countries, Plus I am a student so i don't earn. However i occasionally stumble across random sites with sellers offering headphones at considerably low price(EVEN A price difference of 2 TIMES for the very same pair).

following is an instance

the seller is chinese, not that i have anything against chinese and yes i know lot of stuff is "made in china" but over here the chinese usually refers to knock offs.

another seller on that site has mentioned about his products being not genuine but HQ(they might be),however the one i mentioned above has no such remarks in his description.

Also, as the old adage goes, if it's too good to be true, it is. Buy from a verified reseller or take the risk, up to you.
