I have sony dvp-nc555es+senn HD580. It have no headphone jack, so I should buy a headphone amplifier for HD580. The price I can afford is $200.00.

Thank you for you reply.This on is $125, plus $20 24V ac adapter cause I don't like to buy 9V battery regularly. How about rega ear? Someone said it's also good for hd580?

You might want to pick-up a used MG Head on the FS forum (when available). Very nice match with the HD580.

I really like Perreaux SXH1/HD580 combo. Maybe you can find new at $200 or used cheaper.

Ill second this combo. I picked up used Sennheiser 580s and a Shellbrook Labs Maxi Moy from head fi and for $225 i have the best sounding headphones i have ever herd. I know there are bigger and better things out there but at this point in life (college student) they are cost prohibitive for me.

I use a Rega Ear with the HD580's. It's a great combination- has wonderful bass and is engaging as hell as an amp
