Have you considered just adding a Lokius?

If you can get a software parametric EQ - all the ones I have tried the past few years are excellent - even a 6 band cremates the fixed frequency EQ's - even a 31 band - in terms of addressing what might be wrong. If you cannot get a software parametric, then you have the 3 Schitt models and also used units (most with 10 bands or more).

RME ADI2 has a new more powerful version that has enough juice for stealth and a parametric EQ.
It comes with DAC.

T+A Ha200 also has several EQ functions like Bass, treble and loudness. Also an additional DAC.

The Schiit Loki, Lokius or Loki Max EQs could be devices to use.

Or simply use the DSP Engine in Roon for EQ, this one even lets you load convolution filters.
