Im looking for a headphone amplifier that has an optical input. Ive looked at a few products but i haven't seen one that allows two inputs to be mixed. The other input (besides optical) can be either optical or analog as it is coming from my desktop only for gaming and is the least important. The optical input will be coming out of a macbook through a mini-toslink connector. I need the mixing so that I can voice chat on my mac while listening to my game from the desktop. Does anyone know of a relatively cheap amp that can do all this? Thanks in advance

cant use ventrilo on the pc while you game? or any other voice chat software for that matter...i dont know if you have a mic already or if the mac comes with one built within the machine like a webcam (i am a pc guy so dont know if the mac has a mic) but if it does and thats what you are using, getting a cheap zalman zm1 mic might be cheaper than getting an amp that does what you want it to do.
