All,
I am looking for a headphone amp that has the following:
Longest battery life
Has an auto turn off feature (when music is not playing, it will shut itself off to conserve battery)
Could have a DAC as well.
What I am planning on doing is to use my Samsung Note 4 running Poweramp software to play my MP3 and FLAC audio to my boat stereo system (Auxiliary input on the Clarion headunit and then out to my JL Audio speakers and amps.
My biggest concern is that while boating, I always will forget to turn off the headphone amp and it will burn thru the battery life. On a boat, we dont have USB chargers or 110 volt plugs to recharge these. I am hoping to get a couple trips before I will take it out and recharge it.
The output of the Samsung Note 4 is not that strong. I need a more powerful output and I could also use a way to boost or reduce bass on the fly as well.
