Hey all,
I'm new to headphone gear although I've got an audiophile background and as a muso have been using universal IEMs for many years.
What would you consider the main difference of a dedicated headphone amp apart from the size and power-output? I mean comparing headphone usage with lets say my audiolab pre vs a decent dedicated headphone amp would the difference be very similar quality-size?
I have just ordered a UM Miracle and am starting to research into equipment, the last many years I've been using the Shure E4s mostly for stage/studio work but also for general listening never really considering dedicated components preferring to listen to the stereo till now.
Like some feedback/info...
