You would do better with a DAC/Amp like a Head-Direct Hybrid or Zero... I can't see that 0404 powering the HD650s all that well.

you should consider Grados... i use a uDAC ($100) and Grado RS-1's and i'm getting a Little Dot 1+ tube amp soon ($150) the RS-1 would be out of your price range, but i've heard the SR-225i's ($200) and i own the SR-125 ($150) and they both are great with that type of music. they aren't the best with classical; thats not to say they are bad with classical though...
Senns are probably going to be nicer for classical... the only Sennheisers i've heard were the HD555, HD595 and HD600 when i was considering getting a pair of senns... they were boring so i decided not to get one
