Hi all!

I'm looking for a new headphone. I currently own a Wesc oboe (yeah i know) and I've patched them up from time to time, and I'm not counting on them to last much longer.

These must be a closed set, since i will be using it mostly while riding the train. And under €100. Ohyeah, and I'm in love with the Grado SR-60i's, but they're too open to listen to in public transport, right?

I like mostly listen to techno music, but i enjoy a little bit of everything

looked at so far:
Denon AH-D1001 (Creative Aurvana Live!)
Audio Technica ATH-M50

anyone have other suggestions?

For techno, I'm a big proponent of the ATH-M50. I've never heard the Denons, but never had a reason to since I like my M50 so much.

Is "Denon AH-D1001" & "Creative Aurvana Live!" the same thing?

They use the same drivers, however the enclosures are different. There are some people who have both and believe that the D1001 is better, but I haven't heard both.

well i dont really need to block out sound, its more about the people who are sitting next to me in the train. I think its very annoying when you can hear someone else's music
