If your standard headphone jack is 3.5mm, then you might want to try to look for HP ipaq accessories.

My sister just bought an iPaq, and it uses a 2.5mm headphone jack, it came supplied with a 3.5mm to 2.5mm adapter. I'm assuming HP is smart enough to sell the adapter in the event that it's lost.

I think the radio shack one makes the connection very long (1/4" plus 1/8" adaptor) and may put stress on the 1/8" pin. This one may solve this.
