I'm looking to buy an interconnect from headphile for my e-mu 1212m. I've done as much reading as I could from here, and read the descriptions of the different ICs from headphile, but I still don't know the apparent difference the ICs will make and how much of a difference. What's the difference between copper and silver? What's the best bargain? What would be good in particular for my setup (corda ha-2 and hd650s with zu cable)?

All opinions welcome.

I have the same setup as you but with a Gilmore Lite/PSU instead of a Corda. I use the BlackSilvers and they're fantastic. Copper = warmer sound, Silver = brighter sound with more detail and bass/treble extension than copper. Pick your flavour!

the sheer number of choices also confuses me. are the differences between cables very subtle, or are they major? is any one particular cable from headphile particularly renowned? are the more costly cables worth the extra money? anyone try multiple ICs from them?
