Anybody else using a headless pc running some kind of linux distro with mpd?
I use an old neoware thinclient (233 Mhz Geode processor, 128mb ram), running Voyage Linux on a CF card with a usb dac. Total cost was about $30 (excluding the dac). Works quite well.
I'd be interested to know what other people are using in this regard, and whether they've had any success with lower end hardware.
