I'll be in Atlanta visiting a friend this weekend and just wanted some input from Atlanta natives on things to do/places to visit. Restaurant recommendations would also be nice

If you want to get a real feel for Atlanta, check out Little Five Points and the Virginia Highlands neighborhoods. They have some great boutiques and restaurants, as well as cool vintage clothing stores and the like.

I would suggest The Vortex for great hamburgers, and The Euclid Avenue Yacht Club for their great brisket sandwiches.
