Can I download the original CS on top of a HL2 / CS:S install?

Yes you can. Just go to My Games in steam and download it.

I think you might need an original HL1 CD key or a CS:CZ cd key. I don't remember rite now as I had them installed before I got hl2.

do you have the bronze version? if so, no you won't be able to download it unless you upgrade to silver or buy HL1 and add it to your account.

Found my Half-Life CD, registered it on Steam and it's all downloading now. Lovely. None of that CD juggling. I'll see if I'm any good at the original CS.

I started CS, and it has no bots I can try things against so I'll have to rope in a couple of friends to practice.
