I have seen pics of KSC-75s modded into "regular" headphones using parts from, I'm assuming, el-cheapo headphones.

I haven't been successful in locating cheap headphones that look like candidates for dismantling for use with the KSC-75s. Has anyone done this successfully, and, if so, do you have any advice?

Desired end state would be something that fits like a PX100, but sounds like a KSC-75.

I just went to Amazon to look at a big pic of the Sportapro headband, and can't see where the little nipple on each KSC-75 earspeaker would be inserted.

Does the Sportapro have a connector that mates (he said another naughty!) with the protuberances on each KSC earspeaker? I suppose the most important question is, is it worth tearing apart a set of $20 headphones to improve a pair of $10 headphones. (Cue Jeopardy theme music . . .)

I use the KSC-75 drivers on sporta pro. They fit perfectly. The sound becomes a little bassier and less harsh since the drivers are clamped closer to the ears. The street-style option of the sporta pro works well for work too, since I gel my hair nowadays.

what's the difference between the ksc75 adn the (s)portapro drivers? a while back a koss rep told me that all those phones, and the nice rat shack variants (pro 35 and 35a) used the same driver. sounds like she was mistaken, eh?
