Has anyone with Stax Lambda's been able to order new headbands from them in Japan or someplace else?
From what I am told at Audio Consultants here in Chicago, they called Japan and said there are no parts sold by themselves, just the amp & headset together. I have glued the plastic surround several times in the past ten years, but now the suade headband is wearing out. Surely I can't be the only one that needs a new one.

Got on the Stax website that directed me to the american distributor Yama Enterprises, who has headbands which cost $35.00 for the SR404 which is what the Signature is now I guess. Why didn't Audio Enterprise know about Yama and call them? Thanks for the reply anyhow.

Funny, I needed this awhile back but never got around to asking until I read the Zebra Wood thread talking about getting new Lambda earpads for $50.
