What is the best way to set up a headlamp that has active outputs that are always on no matter if the headphones are plugged in or not and my active monitors?
All amplifiers I previously had had some kind of a toggle for the line out. The one that I just purchased does not have a way to turn off the line out and my monitors do not have any controls on the front. I am thinking about Schiit Sys in between my new amp and my active monitors... Wondering if there are better solutions? Schiit Sys seems small and the volume knob is on the smaller side. I am concerned that it will move around when I will adjust the volume or push the button.
Are any other solutions out there? I am aware of the JDL labs unit that is similar to Schiit Sys but that seems to be even less convenient than Schiit Sys. Are there any other reasonably priced quality switches with volume controls? Any other solutions?
