I am considering either the Headamp AE-2 or the Pico (w/o DAC).
What are the differences in SQ between these two?
Do they both use the same rechargeable battery?
What is the expected life of the battery and cost to replace?
Is it possible to use either as a mini preamp by using a mini to male RCA outs connected to a full size amp?
I have an AKG K601 and would prefer a portable since I move between my stereo, keyboard, IPod and portable CDP.
