from checking other tracking #s it looks like the packages missed all scans until they reach the local sort facility

I figured it out. Thank you. Didn't know I had to take the plastic ring out along with the previous pads.

that video doesnt look like a good way to do it, i would use a credit card. get 1 of the tabs of the pad in place on the headphone, which is easy. then take a credit card and push into the slots on the other tabs and they will just snap into place.

Better Bass than I thought they would have and mids are outstanding! $999 not so sure but for $649 they are very impressive and worth a serious look.

Mine just arrived but one velour pad is damaged: Did anyone here received the HE-400 with a damaged velour pad?
It seems like because it was pressed into the box, that one of the velour pad has a crushed point, where the velour is very thin. its about one finger wide, the rest of the velour is undamaged.
 
Do you think that it will restore by itself, or should I get new ones? Too bad..

still waiting. HiFiMAN sent me a shipment which is still stuck in hong kong. UPS doesnt have enough planes to handle all the loads of crap (and headphones) that are coming over here this month.
 
but they told me today they have a shipment arriving by sea this week so that will help.
