Should be free shipping for US, other parts of the world probable have a shipping cost. Just out of curiosity, do you have to pay customs when those comes in?

IIRC, you can become an importer, in which case Australian customs will contact you directly for any fees (which is what they did with me) or organise a company to deal with it (as an intermediary).
Australia seems to be lenient on headphones for duty, but unless Headamp is collecting GST for the ATO in Australia, that will be due.

How someone could compare with the 465? I hardly could tell the difference in sound quality at the Canjam in Irvine.

Yeah, this thing will absolutely be a perfect combination for them. Can't think of anything better. Except tubes. Add tubes! Tubes make everything better!

Maybe? The circuit should be the same across them but the feature set of the Deluxe is appealing to some. Specifically relay volume control, remote, and quasi-dual mono power supply are the unique features to the Deluxe.

Unless you're a tube fan (see citation above by @Exekuhtor). For me, it's pretty much end game. I'm 72 yo, so I'm probably right. Though, I'll prob. play around with a tube preamp at some point, just for giggles.
I will wait for 2 years to get a preowned at my low budget.

I think you meant ONLY 6 months. I waited 18 months and it was worth it. Justin is a perfectionist and Headamp products are always worth the wait.

It arrived! I’m using it on low gain with my 1266. I think I prefer ZF mode simply because it’s louder. Plenty of power even when listening with earplugs on quiet tracks.
It does get pretty hot though, even the volume knob.

Still waiting for my CFA3 deluxe. I was asked for payment back in April. I was sent a shipping notification back in May. Justin let me know about a week later that it had been mistakenly sent, but he said there was "a huge rack of the CFA3 Deluxe burning in right now!" That was a week ago.

I'm just waiting on a small software update from Kerry for the new volume control on the Deluxe Edition and then they are out the door 
The software can be updated over USB if ever necessary - requires removing the bottom panel from the amp.
