Could sworn I’ve heard it was around $4500 in the CanJam thread.Nothing should cost that much for a dynamic or plannar amps. Sorry to say that.

My remark was about Mass Kubo amps. Headamp’s current and previous offerings have always been a class leading in-term of performance, craftsmanship, design, and build quality. The asking price has always been fair considering the craftsmanship.Could sworn I’ve heard it was around $4500 in the CanJam thread.
@justin w. We’re aiming for around ~$4,000 for the standard model, and then ~$5,000 for the deluxe right?Have you determined the final price?
and all inquiring minds want to know the differences will be between the standard and deluxe models.@justin w. We’re aiming for around ~$4,000 for the standard model, and then ~$5,000 for the deluxe right?

Is there really that much demand for a remote? The amp is likely only 1 to 6 feet from where the person is.At minimum the deluxe edition has the motorized 47 step attenuator w/ remote, Dual mono golden reference voltage regulators, making it semi dual mono & Upgraded main psu caps, could wind up being more
the standard edition has no motor or remote
that's what I thought, but I find myself using the remote all the timeIs there really that much demand for a remote? The amp is likely only 1 to 6 feet from where the person is.

Based on what Justin has said, it won't have a preamp function due to the high powerIt may come with a preamp function and can be used in a 2 channel setup?
I think the gain would be too high for preamp function - CFA requires a minimum gain of 3x (I think) and may be too high for typical power amp gain (which is around 30dB).It may come with a preamp function and can be used in a 2 channel setup?
