How about DIY if you are handy?
2 different routes here:

I added some heat shrink over the plugs and adjacent cord sections, looks like $250 (sprinkle in some cryo treatment and triple that figure

)
and cost was probably $50, mainly the plugs were expensive.

Any advise  on what cable and plugs I should use?
Prefer Australian purchase for parts.

The parts that I used are listed under the pictures,
e.g. cables: Carol 3x 10AWG, 3C SJOOW / Belden 83803,3x12AWG, plugs : Wattgate.
No idea where to source equivalent stuff down under, the web is your friend I guess.

Asked the question in the stax thread.
What volume level do you listen to the Omega 007 with the Blue Hawaii.

That will be affected on wether using RCA or Balanced. Also some DACs stray from the standard 2V line out (for RCA).

Why?
I think it would be the most popular color ordered, no?

lately blue has been the most popular color since we have photos of all colors on our website. before that, black/silver were overwhelmingly the most popular and blue/grey were about a tie. Purple is a distant last - which i dont understand at all! And we still have 1 or 2 turquoise left which are nice and incredibly rare.

I haven't seen any turquoise photos or for that matter green on the website. Do you still offer red ?
