Wow, you guys are extraordinarily patient waiting upwards of 24 months for your amps. Regrettably I've never heard a BHSE, so my question is, aren't there other comparable makes sounding equally as good that don't have such long delivery times?!? What about the Cavalli gear or WOO electrostatic amp? Or perhaps the new Wells Audio Headtrip?

Very interested to read (preferably from owners) what makes the BHSE sound so darned good. Thanks.

AFAIK, Birgir has stats amps available now, however I don't know how they compare to the BHSE.

I'm pretty sure that his take on the BH (if he ever sells one) could be quite spectacular.

Also, I believe that he doesn't actually make money out of those amps, he just tries to cut his costs while having fun making them.

i am working on shipping the 230v units now. i did a number of 115v units first because if there was some issue that i missed, or the new packaging was somehow failing, it would be easier to resolve than from across the world. I'm extremely paranoid and that is how i do things.

i am doing my best to get them all out this year. generally, the last week of the year is incredibly productive.

Usually.  Any assembly line for production will handle exact the same builds at any given time.

Whether it is fair?  I have no idea but I can tell you this that my NA unit was ordered Feb 2012 so that gives ones in the 3rd batch an idea.

Final payment was paid this March and was told to be shipped in one week time.

As far as I know, I was the first one on the 3rd batch and I don't see too many people in front of me and I got it with the 1st shipment in Nov.

So.... the secret is out.  WAIT if you really really really want it.

I habe a Birgir (Spritzer) Made BH(SPecial Edition) that sounds spectacular. He has tweaked the Design a bit and it is a one box solution. The parts used are top notch but the optical appeal is below Justins built.

Kudos to you Y26-Day for waiting 31 months for your BHSE. So how does it sound?

I saw this for sale on his site once but it was gone a few days later. Can you share some listening impressions? Which Stax headphone did you pair it with?
