Well, unless you will get a more demanding 'phone, the magni could be a choice. Cheap and looks cool

Hmmm magni? You have a link because what I found on that is like a hearing aid. The JDS labs cmoybb amp looks pretty neat. The fiio e7k or e17. Any of those look to be good for portable. Also hear good things about the digizoid zo.

Schiit magni (google it, you will find). I personally think you should go for the magni or maybe an objective 2. It will also be able to drive more expensive cans better. Especially those that are current demanding

Honestly, I own both the Schiit Modi & Magni and the Fiio E17.
If you don't have phones that terminate with a 1/4" plug or have the 1/4th adapter, the Magni is out of the question anyway.

The Fiio is smaller, easier to use, and easier to transport.
They offer about the same amount of performance IMO.

The Schiit edges the Fiio just a bit, though.

I would seriously be dissappointed by the schiit asgaard/bifrost stack, considering that they reportedly aren't much better than modi/magni sound wise. And if magni/modi aren't better than the e17 :O

My 300$ tube amp DESTROYS the e17 in every possible way, except for iem's
