I am not sure if this is the place to ask....
I have a mid-2011 21.5" iMac with 8gb memory - I recently did a software update from Apple and for some reason when I click on a photograph within a thread (not the photos on the for sale forums - just photos I click within a post within a thread) for some reason my browser locks up - I look at my Activity Monitor and it goes from 4-5gb available memory to 6mb memory - it somehow sucks up every bit of memory. I have to close every open Safari browser tab to free up the memory. Then it is fine again.
Wondering if anyone has had a similar issue - I am using Safari and OSX 10.7.5
This is a recent development that seems to have coincided with a recent software update from Apple.
Very weird.
