Has a Head-Fi Knowledgebase ever been considered to collect the main knowledge distributed throughout the forum?

I was just browsing the Hydrogen Audio wiki and the lack of a Head-Fi equivalent was drawn into focus for me

It has been started a couple of times. The project is often abandoned when it is discovered how much work is involved. The other part that makes it difficult is that most of the threads are rather subjective. There are a few excellent ones on tubes etc. but for the most part they are just opinions.

Yeah I agree, you need to avoid the subjective.

I was thinking of focusing it on things like
'Everything you ever wanted to know about modding your SR60'
'How you can tweak your 580'
'What version of the Beyer XXX are there?'
'Building an interconnect'
'Altering the impedance of your phones'

You know, collecting the knowledge together, hence 'knowledgebase'. Yes this is all in threads, but as with my Shuffle the S/N ratio is low!
