I recently set up a new portable set-up of ipod->sik din->go-vibe3->e4. I'm really enjoying the sound but ipod lineout sound little mid-reinforced, causing the soudnstage is to sound smaller, and the treble is a bit rolled off. Go-vibe is a really good amp for the price, but the bass response is a bit weak. I'm already thinking of upgrading my set up by either getting my ipod imoded by red wine audio, or purchase a better amp in the $200 class range. Which option will give me a better increase in sound quality within the $200 price range?
Thanks

You also have the option of changing out your phones. I see you have the HD595s and E4s listed in your profile. Do you find the issues with both?

I'm currently enjoying my e4 and not planning to get another IEM, unless I want to go into the custom IEM world. I'm not planning to use my 595 with this set up because of portability issues.
