Whats everyone's opinion on them? Would it be worth dropping $169 for? Id be using it with my Alessandro MS-1i's, then to my computer via usb.

From what I've read the EF2 is a great hybrid amp and at $169 it is a steal. Check out the thread on it here.

I'm thinking about getting a cheap desktop hybrid amp and this looks perfect! I may have to pick this up, I was just a bit concerned about some of the reviews in the other board saying it was not as good as a Pico. I know the Pico costs like $500 w/DAC, but I thought that most desktop amps were supposed to be inherently superior to portables because they have so much more space and a better power supply.

You still get what you pay for I guess.
