Hello Everyone.
All I have to say is WOW !! I bought some Denon AH D5000 headphones from amazon overstock for $346.00 ( good deal) , but was not that impressed with them. They were very airy, bright, and piercing. The bass was bouncing all over the place and as Mark Lawton described, "farted" on some songs. I quickly sent them off to Mark and for 146.00 dollars I have the best headphones I've ever heard. All of the issues are gone and I can crank them LOUD !! I don't get any fatigue or headaches at all. This is with only 35 hours of break in so far. Mark advised 200 hours. I'm currently using them with my RWA iMod, ALO triple copper pipe imod LOD with ALO's Rx Mark II amp. I was head bangin to AC/DC and Van Halen and am now Listening to Pachelbel Canon D and it's stunning.
