Looking for some advice and thanking everybody in advance!
I often practices my DJ skills and sets at home on a Pioneer DJ gear consisting of the CMX 3000 dual CD player and a DJM 3000 mixer. I use a Senn 600 as my headphones.
I am looking to invest in a quality headphone amp so that I can enjoy the music. I have a flexible budget.
The following is some of the gear that have caught my eye : x-can v8, graham slee, benchmark dac -1. I would be willing to look at others as well!
Here are a couple of considerations and questions:
(1) Is the benchmark dac-1 overkill for my requirements? I assume I can not use the DAC because I will have the Mixer to contend with.
(2) I don't mind a full size amp, but not one desperately big - e.g. some of the Woo amps are a little too big for me.
(3) I don't need a head amp for my computer since I only listen to music on my computer via my Eclipse soundystem which includes its amplifier.
