EDIT: Solved, went with the HD650 for it's better all-roundedness over the AD2000x, and found the HE400i's too "soft".

This thread is over and old but I just want to leave this here for anyone who might see (who knows it's head-fi)
Senn hd650s are without a doubt more resolving than the ad2000x, (similar to he-400i in terms of detail), and are much DARKER than either.
