I need your expertise guys I'm about to order new cans and I want your opinion ..which one would you choose  HE-400 or HD-650
I like tube rolling and have Aune T1 ,I listen to a lot of different music and already have  DT880-250,detail and bass is what I'm after

I vote the HE-400!! heh. I really love the bass & detail on em. but they are both great headphones.

I have not heard the HD-650, but the HE-400 will give you detail and bass in spades. Those are two of the things it does best IMO.

I was in a similar situation as you...I have the 880's and couldn't decide between the 400's or 650's...so I got both.  I don't really think you can go wrong with either headphone.  I think you'll really enjoy the HE400.  If you want bass the 400's will give it to you.  Hope you enjoy!

he-400 would be the way to go especially with a basic hybrid like the Aune

I really enjoy my 880's and was just looking for "different beast" punchy bass and detail have to be addressed since I want  to use them for gaming as well ,the only thing I was concerned about was the weight and pads ,I plan to help my  "basic hybrid" down the road
