Hi,
I'm getting a Sennheiser HDV820 and I just have a few questions. The DAC on the HDV820 has 3 inputs: USB, Optical, and Coax (RCA). I have 3 devices I need to connect to the DAC: personal computer, Thunderbolt dock (for work and personal laptop), and TV. I was going to use Optical for TV -> DAC, USB for Thunderbolt dock -> DAC, which leaves coax for my main PC....which leads to my question, how can I get coax out from pc to the HDV820 while maintaining the best quality possible?
I have an optical to coax converter, but I don't know if using this is a good or bad thing, and honestly I'd prefer if there was a PCI card I could just stick in my PC with an RCA Coax output I could use directly. Does anyone have any recommendations for how to hook all this up?
