Hi all,
I've been out of the scene for a while, so I'm not sure what best practices are on getting a digital line-out of your system for amping headphones.
Can I just use something like this to bypass a receiver's amp and create a digital line-out? http://www.amazon.com/Hdmi-Cable-Adapter-Xbox-360/dp/B001S5CCF2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1343849854&sr=8-5&keywords=hdmi+to+audio+line+out
I just helped someone purchase Grados 325is, and they don't have a headphone amp yet, but I'm thinking about the future when he will undoubtedly want a headphone amp.
Sorry if this is a silly question...
For reference, I'm using a Pioneer VSX-821-k receiver.
Thank you!
