Hi All,

I just got Pontus 15 DAC, looking for reasonable recommendation for HDMI cable for connecting I2S sources?

Thanks
AVplay HD-300
I2s cable with single silver wire.
Available on aliexpress.

*Select “HDMI IIS audio”
”Email shop the information of the device to be connected when ordering and shop will send you a cable with the wiring that matches the denafrips DAC”.

I used it on my Pontus 12th with good results.

Lots of recommendations for AVPlay HD-300. I did order one from Ali but due to parts shortage, it never shipped. May have to re-order.

Start with a cheap one from Monoprice or Amazon (<$10). See how it sounds. I currently use the DH Labs (.5M). Be mindful with these short cables and their orientation. It can be a pain to route/connect since they are not as flexible.

Grabbed an Audioquest HDMI cable, just to get a decent wire for I2S, and it's worked out pretty great for me so far. Nothing special, just the cheapest one I could find at the length I needed. But all I have to compare it to is a standard Monoprice HDMI cable, which is notably not as clean sounding.
