I'm curious if this is at all possible:  Id like to have my TV and Monitor both hooked up to my computer via HDMI cables, and for lack of a better word have it "split" the audio, so I can watch a movie on the TV with sound coming out the TV and play a PC game with the sound for that coming out of my M-Audio speakers which r hooked into my PC Monitor right now.

I dont have a soundcard just the onboard, and my vid card is a MSI 560TI Twin Frozr,  which only has 1 mini-hdmi port and 2 DVI ports.  IF i get a HDMI to DVI adapter and use that for the TV will it be able to carry the audio?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated ty for your time.

if we're talking Windows 7 and one of the individual programs let's your specify which sound device to use then yes you can do that.  Set one to one device (HDMI) and the other to the on-board sound card.

For example foobar2000 let's you specify the device.  I can set it to one and jam the headphones on it through the amp and set the windows default sound to my speakers for everything else.
