Hello guys, Im looking for some recommendation on balanced XLR cable for HD800s since my stock cable broke in the rubber part area.
Im looking for some cable that has no rubber parts but instead its all fabric knitted or what ever u call it. :D

Update: Just found some cables from Forza Audioworks. Do you have any experience with these and if so which one would u recommend?

Thanks :)

I highly recommend hart audio cables they have interchangeable ends which is a really cool feature and very fair prices.

There is also periapt, audiophile ninja, impact audio cables

Thank you, will check them out. Btw, does sound quality change from cable to cable? I noticed some ppl were saying something like that some cables might make bass deeper or vocals higher. Umm.. Im newbie when it comes to these things so Im not sure what to expect.

It doesn't matter pick whichever option you like I don't subscribe to the cable sound differences because then you'll end up like one of those guys with a $1000 USB cable when you could just buy new headphones instead.

While I’m not a big cable guy I have definitely heard difference in some cables but just didn’t want to spend the money. I have listened to Double Helix, Norne,Toxic,Effect,Dana and others and would most likely pick them over most stock cables. Since you say you don’t subscribe to a cable sounding different have you heard any of the cables from them ? Just asking.

I had a good experience with Artic cables. The original prisma cable they sent for my hd800 was faulty. So why was it a good experience, you ask? They replaced the cable without fuss and upgraded me to furutech connectors as a customer service gesture.

Its a long supple cable and sounds great.

We've been using Matt's (FAW's owner) cables for many years at verious shows and at our offices. These are very nice products in general and competitively priced for what they are. FAW Noir would be the best and cans such as HD 800 deserve it, but if you don't want to spend much, Matt's Claire range is also OK.
