As per title, happy owner of a used hd800s, been using it for 90% of the time since I got it a month ago, and now everything else I own sounds meh & veiled in comparison.

Maybe I need to rotate them more often to avoid a brain burn in trough?

Any thoughts from long term users?

I know the feeling, I only use mine for music that benefits from its soundstage and clarity, I constantly rotate between three different headphones for different types of music.

My problem is that I listen to 90% jazz & the hd800s are a match made in heaven for it.

What are the other 2 headphones in your rotation?

Those and the Hifiman Arya Stealth are the ones that make anything you switch to sound depressing if you use them for a day first.

Not yet heard an Arya stealth, but it's on the wishlist. Worth owning both?
