Hi there,

I have an offer of buying some used HD800 for some decent price, but the owner honestly told me that there's some very little dent on the metal that covers the left outer earcup. It looks like this:

Can anybody assure me it will not affect the sound quality at all? And if somehow it really does, should I be scared?

I consider myself a big perfectionist and I think I have very sensitive ears, and I fear that there can be something wrong with the sound coming from the left earcup due this dent ...

Thank you everyone for opinions!

Thank you for your opinion. As I am not a native English speaker, can you please explain what does the phrase "The difference looks too minute to me" mean? Sorry for a dumb question

I really thought about removing the earpad and smoothing the dent - do you think it could make things even worse?
