EDIT: Deleted the content, since I do not want to confuse other people. I must have been pretty tired and there was something wrong with my head at that time... HD800 sound as they did, period. Washing the earpads didn't change anything...

Interesting. Buy some new earpads and see if the sound comes back. If not, something happened. D:
