HD700 headband replacement

Anyone out there replace a headband for a Sennheiser HD700? Any tips on how to replace the headband with minimal damage? I contacted Sennheiser but the want $295.95 to replace it. I appreciate any help out there...

Good Lord--300 bucks?? You could buy a decent set of headphones for that!! I have no experience replacing that headband, sorry. :frowning2:
