That's a good price, right? I saw J&R selling them for that and hadn't seen a post about it here. I figured it's alright to pass the information along. Does that mean HD700s are not far behind?

With the free shipping they offer that does seem to be a good price. An Amazon vendor, Sarjo Dist, has them for $325 plus $6.49 shipping. I ordered Senn 595's from them a few weeks ago - very good vendor.

is that really the best price. i got mine years ago for $285 shipped (new, of course). i figured they would be less expensive now.

Maybe it's not a great price. I quit looking at them after I decided to stay with my 595s. I just thought from what I remembered that it was better than I'd seen, so I passed it along. Please excuse if this is old news or an average deal.

The lowest I've seen them for (from a major and reputable dealer) was $339 was at B&H. Headroom has them for $349, and Todd sells them for $399.

I am looking to buy a set soon!

I bought my 650 a year or so ago and found them for around $275 or so then had Guitar Center match that price...after tax and $5 special order charge I made out pretty good.

I haven't been able to find a price as good since.

I bought mine from the same vendor in February for about $280. I was looking at HD600s on Amazon the other day and was surprised to see the lowest price around $260- apparently prices have fluctuated a bit.

evn at $330, i think they are more than worth it. recabled and properly amped, the 650 is one of the best headphones out there - a bargain compared to the overpriced limited edition headphones on the market.

I think I got my HD650's off J&R for $299, I must have been lucky or something. As for the HD700's, your guess is as good as almost anyone's. I don't know if there's been any definitive evidence from Sennheiser that they will be releasing it soon, though rumors put it in early 2008.
