The right side of my HD650 cable went out a few weeks ago and while i wait for a new one, I was wondering if i may be able to jerry rig it. I completely cut off the right connection end and now just have the two wires hanging out. Is there any way I could make this work for a temporary solution?

Hmmm, I didn't know Sennheisers Cable problems extended to the 650's, thought they fixed em by now. Thank God my new cable made from Kimber PBJ 6 conductor cable is being made right now

After waiting on Sennheiser for 2 in a half weeks and then finding out they were on back order, I found a cable on ebay and ordered it.

Sennheiser makes great products, but their service in the USA is pretty bad. It's ok if you don't mind waiting months, but never if you need something quick like I did. Been a rough few weeks without my prized possession!

Becasue I don't believe in paying obscene prices for a cable.

Not until I have heard one of these ridiculous cables and heard the massive difference (it better be pretty big for $250)

Covered a million times before, likely, but....
Where can I get a good value cable upgrade with a Sony 4.4 balanced Jack?
I'm not interested in paying $300 for a cable upgrade for my $200 used 650 though...

thx
