i ve got D2 Boa,



with high gain if i use HD600.

how bad will it sound?


am i better off with AKG501?


both sound good but if HD600 is my 1st choice if it can run fine wiht Boa.

3 months later i ll get big amp so for the time can i use Boa?


I ve got someone buying my Hd555..so deciding to sell it off and get HD600 finally.

been busy lately..so couldnt test it with boa.


can someone tell?

I have the D2 BOA and HD650's. I was amazed that they sounded as good as they do. They are not a match made in heaven or anything, but I have compared the boa w/ headroom supreme and the new X-Can V8 amp. I would choose the V8 over either for sound, but if you add cost into the equation the Boa blows them both away. The Boa has plenty of power for the 650's as well IMO.
